Not really a post about Knitting Camp

I finished my Summer Solstice Cardigan, and I wore it to the annual knitting retreat hosted by the lovely owners of my local yarn store C K & R Daisy Designs.

The very creative and stylish Margarita kindly took some pictures around the grounds of me in my cardigan. I'm so pleased to finally be able to post some pictures of me that I like!**

All the details here on the rav project page - it's a knit that I thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely knit again.

Also, Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool is a gorgeous yarn. I wish it was readily available in Australia, but great deals on it can be found at Paradise Fibers - their postage is super fast and very reasonable too.

** Ignore the incriminating pictures of my evil twin half sozzled, in a velvet caftan from the opshop, wearing a tiara, and possibly giving the finger that you might find on Facebook or Twitter. What can I say? We had a LOT of fun!

That Margarita, she's got an eye hasn't she!! And you're a great knitter, so an excellent combination!

I'm so envious of this cardi. So good. And yes, super-stylist Margarita's photos combined with the location and your knitting are super.

Oh you are such a good model: no-one needs to make you a supermodel, you are one. Love the cardigan!!! I saw you wearing your tiara and your purple shoes in the internet too!!

Oh, the drape and fit are just right on this! I love how you've styled it, and the photo shoot yielded some beautiful results. The backdrop of the door is especially good.
