My friend Donna will be here soon. It's Emily's formal tonight, which is being held at a secret venue near where I live, and Donna and David have to hang around until it's finished so they can drive her home. So I invited them over here.
Now Donna asked me a while back if I'd crochet a ruffle edge around a cardigan for her, and being Donna, it took her about a week to knit the whole thing. So she's bringing that, and I'm going to get started on that tonight.
I said we'd have a thai dinner somewhere, but I have to pick up and drop off my own kids to various things and won't be completely free until after 8pm. So I thought we'd do a takeaway instead.
I'm sure Donna thinks that her and David are in for a lovely relaxing evening with some good food and a little w(h)ine or two, sitting on the couch, possibly knitting.
That's what she thinks.
No way. I have plans for her. I even set it up ready.

heh heh heh...and it's too late for her to make other plans!
ha! I know what that's all about! Please show us the results!
ah, hehehehe. i dont see why i should sew either when i know some people who are so much better at it than me!its called distribution of labour.
How useful to get into a quid pro quo relationship with someone as skilled as Donna!
Oooh I can't wait to see the results! :)
And it's Liberty! I love sewing Liberty fabrics, but I am deathly afraid of cutting them out. What if I make a mistake?
Can't wait to see what you are up too???
It seems like a great idea to get Donna to do the sewing since your doing the crochet, what a great swap. Hope you both achieve lots of crafty goodness!
I was ambushed! It's all good, tho. They turned out great.
