I don't know what's caused this, perhaps that purple and green rug on the cover of the recent Better Homes and Gardens magazine? - but at work a few people have asked me to teach them to knit. I find this kind of amusing because a) they assume I'd want to do this and b) I don't particularly.
But, as you all know, I do love the knitting, and so a Tuesday lunchtime knitting group has begun. I can't say I am overjoyed with the prospect of my two lives colliding like that. The normal me and the knitting me - they've been mutually exclusive personalities for so long I've become accustomed to it.
I finished the clapotis. And, guess what?
I'm going to give it away. There really is a first for everything, isn't there?

oh i think it's partly jsut that it's winter, too. People just equate cold weather with knitting.
Your clapotis is lovely!
I know what you mean, it's like crossing the beams in GhostBusters. You finished the clapotis so quickly!! The colour shading is pretty great.
