A better prop
Serendipity - the crochet baby blanket - photographed here being used as intended.
SnB on Saturday saw me soak up some very therapuetic baby juju, with the return of the Prodigal Knitting Sista from Abhu Dhabi.
It was really wonderful seeing Kate, Zena and Charmaine back together again. I remember when I first met them, I was awed by their glorious knitting, their glamourous good looks, and then by their superior intelligence (all engineers!), and then by their all round good-guyness.
One thing I also remember is that when I met them, only a few short years ago, there was nary a baby amongst them. And they all declared this to be just the way they liked it, and just the way it was going to stay.
Five sons later I wonder whether they are all that clever at all, assuming they may not be aware of what causes it.
Welcome Back Charmaine - Zena and Kate (and me) are so happy you're back!
And pleased to meet you Felix!
