Now that the second instalment of the Black Japan Yarn Club has been mailed and recieved, I'd like to make a confession.

I couldn't think of a good name for the colour.

Can you help me think of a name?

The only criteria is that it must allude in some way to a Japanese or Oriental theme, and preferably not cherry blossoms (but I wouldn't rule it out if you can think of a clever twist on it).

I'll pick my favourite, the winner will recieve the yarn and the plastic thing of their choice, and I'll give the remaining plastic things to three random comments.

No 1. - A Folca Box

This natty little box has seven compartments perfect for stitch-markers, pins, a little tape measure and tapestry needle. It's perfectly Japanese, cute and well-designed and has even a little strange lost in translation message written on it. It really is a very rare and handy thing, the folca box!

No. 2 - a sushi rice mold

You can pack your kid the coolest lunch in the school (or your own for the office) with this little sushi rice mold. There's a star, a heart and a little teddy bear face - it's properly designed with a press and a mesh base to squeeze out moisture - complete with easy to understand (for some) Japanese pictorial instructions.
