I fell in love with a top

Like the white stripes said, I said it once before but it bears repeating. I fell in love with a top. Two actually.

Looking yesterday for some knitting inspiration, I stumbled upon the Phildar Autumn Book. It was love at first sight. So I bought it, and the yarn to make the stripey top on the right hand side.

I did this yesterday and promptly forgot. So I kind of had a happy suprise when I looked at the images today and remembered that the kit is on it's way..

I love all three of them - and Mary-Helen, did boat necks ever go anywhere?

Love a boatneck, and love Phildar patterns. I just received the Winter 2009 book, and am in denial about the fact that it is all in French. I did French for the HSC - how tough could it be (ominous foreboding clouds rush across the sly...)?

Boat necks are fabulous, always loved them always will, they balance out hips by widening shoulders, as I'm in need of a little balancing ;) boat necks are a fave.

I know these Phildar patterns quite well I ogle them all the time and have some, they have fantastic easy contemporary designs, with great photos and styling. Maybe Patons need to take a leaf out of their books ?

Can't wait to see what you knit up Ailsa :D
