Bitter Cold

It's been cold, rainy and blowing a howling gale up here on the hill.

I've been wearing handknits, fortifying myself with coffee, and desperately trying to find some winter sun.

Embarrassingly, I fell heavily on the road when I was running the other day, have a sprained wrist and very grazed palms - so I haven't been able to knit! This void has been filled by extreme iphone sudoku and plenty of sleep, two things which up to now I was sure I could live without.

This is what it's looked like up here in June.

Nasty things, falls. You probably need extra sleep to heal and cope with the shock. I hope the wrist recovers soon.

Take care.

Such a tragedy, not being able to knit from injury. But at least its a sporting injury. The winds been freezing hasn't it, thank god for hand knits, esp that cowl.
